Bookings Policy

Poleminx believes pole dancing is a specialist activity, so we actively limit class sizes every week (yup, that means turning custom away), to allow quality pole-time and instruction for signed-up participants.

Regrettably, it is unsustainable for us to run our small classes, absorb increasing business costs without increasing our prices AND subsidise the demands of students' employers. Please if you cannot attend a lesson due to demands at your workplace, consider asking your employer for a refund / reimbursement instead. While refunds / lessons in lieu will be provided in rare circusmtances where I am responsible for a lesson not going ahead, these CANNOT be provided in those circumstances where I have no responsibility for student non attendance. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Booking Policy is here to help keep things equal and fair, and enable our prices and small class sizes to be maintained in the long run.



6 Week Courses / 6 Week Blocks (Levels 4+)


1. BOOKING / AVAILABILITY

a) All spaces are available first-come, first-served.
b) All courses / blocks must be pre-paid in full via the secure online bookings system.
c) No reservations / PAYG / cash on the day.
d) Please check dates / times, FAQs and entry requirements carefully before booking.

2. CANCELLATION OF PLACES ON 6 WEEK COURSES OR BLOCKS

(For Notice being given in advance of Start Date)

3. SESSIONS MISSED DURING 6 WEEK COURSES OR BLOCKS

• We have no obligation to provide refunds or catch-up lessons for sessions missed for any reason except (very rare) cancellation by us, but if there is flexibility in the current block of the Timetable, we will try to accommodate, as detailed below. Guarantees or promises can not be made in advance, and it should be assumed if a session cannot be attended it is forfeit.
• Missed sessions may not be 'credited-forward' to future Blocks / Courses.

• SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY a catch-up session may be offerred. Or
• IF YOUR SPACE IS FILLED ON THE DAY a pro-rata refund of session may be made.
(iii) Notice is given before Course/Block Start Date • Opt to book 'last-minute' (on the Start Date, if there is space) at pro-rata price. Availability of such 'last-minute' places will be limited. Or
• Pay in full, with possible outcomes as in (ii) above.


4. CANCELLATION OF PLACES IN SINGLE LESSONS (Taster Classes / Refresher Classes / Dance Routine Classes etc. Not a session of a 6-week Course)

You may be able to re-schedule to a future class if there are last-minute spaces available to fill in such a class, at our discretion.


5. REFUNDS REQUESTED DUE TO CANCELLATIONS FOR MEDICAL REASONS

Cancellations / refunds due to medical reasons (except pregnancy) will be considered on receipt of a signed GP's Letter advising that you cannot continue with exercise. Refunds will be considered for any lessons scheduled after you have provided such a Letter, within the duration of your course. If the 6-week course or block has since finished, refunds cannot be made retrospectively.

Gift Voucher refunds / cancellations

Gift Vouchers are valid for one year from the Gift Voucher date, and may not be extended, exchanged for cash or transferred to a different person.

If for medical reasons it is not possible to use the Gift Voucher inside its validity period, we may at our discretion extend the period or accept a transfer of the Voucher to an alternative person. Monetary refunds are not available.

Gift Vouchers may be redeemed once. If you verbally or by email book yourself onto a course or other event, and then do not attend, it is not possible to re-schedule afterwards.


Amendments

Very rarely, we must cancel a class. Where this happens, a replacement class date & time will be advised. If you cannot make this in-lieu class and tell us in advance, a refund equivalent to that session will be made.
