Did you know that ....Pole dancing works most of the major muscle groups in the body. Over time and with practice, you can expect to see greater strength and tone in the abdominals, thighs, shoulders, arms, glutes and legs. However it builds lean, dancer muscle, not bulkiness, and brings improvement to flexibility and suppleness too. When moves and tricks are combined and performed together in a routine, pole dancing provides an aerobic work-out and burns energy. Pole dancing as exercise will lead to a healthier heart, bones, joints and breathing, and will release 'feel-good' endorphins. It improves posture, balance and co-ordination. People have reported losing a dress size and change of body-shape as a result of regular and progressive pole dancing practice. Pole dancing can become an addiction, a hobby, and has even been known to change lives. What else in life is enjoyable, fun and actually good for you?!
